She is a yoga therapist (Diploma) from Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeet, A+ University, Andhra Pradesh, India, 2004. Integrative teaching of modern science with yoga also makes students feel easy to understand the methodology and implementation. She built programs for different diseases and guides students even after graduation. Now with PhD in Yoga from SVYASA, Bengaluru, India, she is building a professional look for Yoga as “Lifestyle”. She is ERYT@500 from 2015 from a best yoga center, Rishikesh Yog peeth, Rishikesh, India. Now continuing the journey of spreading innate knowledge of India to westerns through Rishikesh yog sansthan, Rishikesh, India. She is expert in; Yoga anatomy, yoga therapy, yoga for pregnancy, yoga for geriatrics, yoga for kids, yoga for mental health. She conducts workshops with the strong research background from Physiotherapy and Philosophy. Workshops like Pranayama, Meditation, Kriya yoga, Kundalini yoga, Reiki, Yoga nidra, Hatha Yoga, methodology of Asana, methodology of Kriya and so on at Rishikesh Yog Sansthan. Dr. Amaravathi is also a guest lecturer and expert in connecting philosophy and mythology of yoga practices.

He is an expert in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga (Mysore style), Hatha Yoga style, Yoga for Obesity and General fitness.

Yoga Therapy & Spirituality ( Guest Teacher )
Currently working as an Assistant Professor at MIT SVS, Dr Sushrutha has had comprehensive learning in Vedic Sciences as a part of the Panchamukhi Shikshana, which includes Veda, Vijnana, Yoga, Krishi and Kalakaushala. After incubating himself in such holistic education for twelve years, he pursued BSc (Yoga), MSc (Yoga Therapy) and PhD (Yoga-Spirituality) from S-Vyasa Yoga University, Bengaluru. Moreover, he has been teaching Patanjali Yoga Sutras, Hatha Yoga, Samskrit, Vedic psychology, Mantra chanting and Upanishad meditation techniques, among others, to the students of UG and PG programs for more than a decade. He is passionate about researching Indian sciences, particularly Yajnology, to make it a contemporary practice by using modern empirical tools. Dr Sushrutha is an ardent user of any innovative methods and technology to explore the little known aspects of the Vedic treasure of knowledge.
